Kenilworth logistics company plans Shanghai foray

Add another New Jersey company to the growing list of logistics providers leading for China.
Kenilworth's Summit Logistics International Inc. says it has received approval from Shanghai government officials to set up a company there. The company, which mainly moves apparel and household foods, will have about 70 employees in China. The office is set to open in March.0 's ul= le.
It was set up under newly adopted Chinese rules that allow foreign companies to entirely own and operate companies.
"Things are changing in China," said Robert A. Agresti, Summit's CEO, noting that it took just two months to get approval. "Things have gotten a little less difficult."
Summit itself is moving swiftly too. It was formed in November by merging several companies, including logistics companies in Kenilworth, Carteret and Califomia. It now has 800 employees, and offices in Hong Kong, Russia, Turkey and Georgia.
